The predator is the actual 302-neuron C. elegans connectome (Cook et al. 2019) running as a leaky integrate-and-fire network. It isn't scripted: bearing to the fly is fed as a chemotaxis cue into the real AWC/AWA chemosensory neurons, left/right AWC spike asymmetry steers it, the AVB (forward) and AVA (reverse) command neurons gate its speed, and on contact its real pharyngeal MC circuit fires to feed — every move is read straight out of the firing network you see on the left. The prey's neuron count is the Janelia hemibrain (~25,000).
